Hi. I am a 20 year old female and I am currently in my first year of Psychology.
I am outgoing and responsible and have a lot of experience with children of all ages (newborn to 13).
I have been a leader with a brownie group for almost 3 years (been in guiding for almost 17 years), volunteer at the children’s hospital (September 2015-current) and volunteer with the youth within my church (for approximately 5 years). I also have experience with children who have ASD, ADHD, neurofibromatosis amongst other developmental and neurological conditions. I have been babysitting for 10 years and have also been a nanny during the summer of 2013.
I recently took my Standard first aid certification as well as my CPR-C (Beginning of April) and I have police checks with vulnerable sector searches for both guiding and the children’s hospital volunteer opportunities; however, these are only for those volunteer opportunities and not applicable for paid positions.
On Fridays I have volunteering from 4 until 8 so I will not be available to work during that time or within an hour of that time due to transportation. I have my driver’s license; however, I do not have a reliable vehicle.
