I am a mom of 3 teenage girls who are all also babysitters on this site! I am available to babysit kids of all ages. I am a landscaper, so during the winter I switch to snow removal which leaves me with a lot of free time. I love kids and I miss mine being little, and my girls have met many wonderful children while babysitting, making me want to meet some little people and help some parents out who do not have the free time that I do now that mine are so grown up.
I’m a big believer in creative child care, keeping the little ones busy playing games, making crafts, and using their skills and imaginations. When the weather allows, going outside to wear them out is ideal. I’m patient but firm, and find that giving kids options and setting clear boundaries and limits gets me the best results.
I drive and have a great drivers abstract, and am able to do school dropoffs and pickups if you need before or after school care.
Babies are my weakness, and I am comfortable with even very young ones. I can walk in circles bouncing a baby for hours if necessary!
I don’t mind sick kids, so if you’re looking for an experienced sitter when they’re too sniffly for daycare, I’ve been there, and I can help. I have current First Aid Certification.
