My name is Jazmin and I am a 23 year old student at Mount Royal University in the Bachelor of Education program.
I started to work in child-care over four years ago by taking care of a one year old boy for a year. In my next position, I had the opportunity to help raise a one year boy and a newborn for approximately three years. One of the aspects that I enjoy most as a nanny is to be part of the family as well as see the children grow and flourish. Working with small children helped me to gain patience and a better understanding of a child’s needs.
I particularly enjoy visiting the Zoo, the Telus Spark Science Center, libraries and different parks around the city because I believe this gives the children an opportunity to observe and learn through different environments.
