Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a student occupational therapist from Kingston, Ontario, home for the summer! I am offering babysitting/respite services for a few families that are practicing safe physical distancing during these times, to ensure that we both stay safe.

Before starting my master’s, I worked as a therapeutic assistant at a junior kindergarten for children with disabilities, and I have worked with respite families in the past. I have experience working with children who have autism, learning disabilities, DCD, and more. I have also babysat for the majority of my life, as I am the oldest of four and babysat around the neighborhood as a teenager! I love to do crafts, play outside, and read with the children I babysit!

I am available starting after June 8th, as I am finishing up my semester remotely! I do not have my car with me, so I am looking for families in Sundance, Midnapore, Chaparral & Chaparral Valley, Somerset, and Shawnessy. I have a bike, and I live in Sundance, so basically anywhere in biking distance. My hourly rate is definitely open to negotiations depending on how many children you have, needs, etc.
