I’m currently completing the second year of my Education degree at Mount Royal University and look forward to starting my third year in September 2019. I have really enjoyed my Student Teaching practicums in several elementary grades over the last two years (grades 1, 3, 5 and 6).
I’m a very good student and was invited to attend the 2015, 2016, and 2017 Provincial Skills Canada competition in Edmonton and placed 6th in IT Office Software Applications. Last summer I worked for Make It Night, a Do It Yourself, curated, workshop/event planning company. We are proud to have won the Calgary Stampede’s runner-up award for Rookie Booth of the Year. The two summers previous, I worked at the Calgary Corn Maze, and the summer of 2015 I worked at the Calgary Stampede. I’m hardworking, responsible and really enjoy working with computers (Microsoft Office, Graphic Design, and Photography). I designed a poster for my high school drama production as well as logos for a construction company and PowerPoint presentations for an electrical company. I also assisted a small business with their data entry and spreadsheets for inventory.
I’ve been babysitting for a family of three children weekly for the last 7 years, along with babysitting for several other families regularly. I’ve volunteered at my brother’s elementary school, our church, and bible camp.
